A wine theme wedding is always a fun but elegant theme that many couples embrace nowadays.
Alison and Michael got married at the beautiful Angus Barn in Raleigh, North Carolina. This venue wine cellar features different rooms to host events. It was the perfect location for their intimate wedding.
Their ceremony and reception took place at the cellar itself. Alison looked radiant in her wedding dress and entered the room holding a beautiful white daisy bouquet.
The bride and groom did elect to see each other before the ceremony, so they set up
at a nice area outside of the hotel where they could see each other in private.
All of the family formal pictures were done before hand which left them with just
capturing the couples portraits after the ceremony.
The venue was already decorated for a wine theme wedding and the different rooms offered amazing backdrops for their wedding photographs.
The couple got cozy at the wine cellar for a romantic and elegant shoot, but they also showed their playful side hugging each other near life sized nutcracker statues.
The white daisies adorned the tables in tall wedding centerpieces, and set the stage for a wonderful meal. The food was excellent and paired up with the best wines from the cellar.
After cutting their cake, the couple left for their honeymoon exiting through and arch their guests formed with sparklers. It was a beautiful and classy reception in an unconventional wedding.

*Decorations: Finding a reception hall that is already decorated can save you lots of money. In this case, only flowers were needed to spice up the room a little bit, but the venue itself offered all the decorations already.
*Get Married Close to a Holiday: if you get married near a Holiday, chances are your venue will have all the decorations already so you won’t have to invest as much. Christmas, New Years and Valentine’s are some of the examples. For those daring brides, Halloween works as the perfect occasion for a great theme wedding.
