A Tropical Theme Wedding

From the setting to the favors, Caribbean breeze and exotic touches are the stars at this theme

A tropical theme wedding will bring the exotic flavors of a lost paradise to your celebration. Colorful flowers, exotic fruits, the sun and sea in a warmth summer day or night come to mind and serve as inspiration for this theme.

Are you lost in love in a tropical paradise? Let’s bring that vision to life for your day!

Your colors

You will base your colors on earth tones.

Beautiful palm trees, luscious foliage, sand and the sea will serve as your inspiration. With this being said, think about browns, greens and white to give some contrast.

If you want to , you can add a hint of red, orange, yellow , pink or purple especially if you decide to use some exotic flowers as part of your decorations..

Setting up
Using linen on your tables will help you create the tropical theme wedding look. You can use it in any of the main colors ( brown, green or white). You can use chair sashes to contrast, for example white linen with brown or green sashes, green linen with white or brown sashes, etc.

Placing mini palm tree candles on your table setting will add the tropical flavor to any table. You can also use Natural Seashell Place Card Holders to add to the theme.

Another important item where you can make your theme present is no other than your wedding cake.
While many brides decide to have the theme into the cake design, others preferred to have a classy wedding cake and add the theme using a palm tree cake topper.

Your centerpiece

You need an original tropical theme wedding centerpiece. I think on of the best ideas is to create a unique centerpiece using tropical fruits.

You can use as many or little fruits as you like. Cut them or serve theme as a whole. Some favorites are bananas, coconut, melons, pineapples and oranges. They can make a beautiful and colorful arrangement that will add that splash of color to your earthy tones palette.

Display them on a high based tray at the center of your tables for a centerpiece that works double duty. But if you want to keep your palette without the extra colors, you can use a candle arrangement instead.

What about the favors?
