Elaine and Marlo had their outdoors wedding in Koh Samui, a luscious tropical island located in the gulf of Thailand.
Their pure white wedding palette made perfect contrast with the island sandy beaches and tropical foliage. The bridesmaids wore short white dresses and purple shoes, while the bride opted for a long flowy gown.
The ceremony was held outdoors. The chairs were covered with white linen while the aisle was showered with pink flower petals leading to the altar.
Elaine and Marlo took gorgeous pictures at their venue. The simplicity of their theme created an elegant and romantic atmosphere.
Thailand is well known to craft beautiful knives and swords. True to a fun wedding couple, they cut the wedding cake, not with a knife but with a sword! Take a look at Marlo aiming at the cake and Elaine smiling while they cut it. This is an original and fun picture that will stay in everyone’s memory for years to come!

Marlo and Elaine had a luscious Thailand wedding as a destination wedding theme. Here are some wedding ideas and tips you can put in practice when planning your own wedding:
* Create your Destination : Ideally you will celebrate your wedding at the destination of your choice. In reality some destination weddings are not a possibility. Bring your destination home for a day with the help of props and decorations.
* Live the Culture: Using elements from the culture of your choice can help you tone your event. Moroccan lamps and tents can create the ambience of an Arabian theme even if you live in a winter location. Paris can come alive in Florida with the help of the proper menu and you can have a Southern Belle Wedding theme in NY when choosing the proper venue and decorations.
* Have Fun: This couple chose to cut the first piece of their wedding cake with a sword, creating an everlasting memory, and maybe starting a tradition to be follow by their kids!
Do something fun that you feel comfortable with at your own celebration you will surely create memories for years to come.
