Setting the scene
This wedding theme brings out the kid in all of us, and to recreate the carnival theme , make sure your celebration is outdoors.
A venue with a large garden will be ideal.
You will be working with reds, pinks, whites, yellow and gold to set the theme.
You want to recreate a fun, colorful and summery atmosphere.
When setting the tables you could use a different color for each in your linen within your wedding colors.
Another option is to use white linen and use the red or pink to accentuate in your chair covers sash and napkins.
Can you get a hold of checkered white and red tablecloths? Even better!!

* Hire a magician who can go around entertaining your guest.

* Set some carnival games that your guests will be delighted to play. For example you could collect some empty soda bottles and place them on top of a table to play ring toss.
* Have a popcorn machine at your celebration ( fresh popcorn? Yummy!!)
* Have a Candy cotton machine at your celebration.
* Decorate with plenty of colorful balloons.
* Have a lemonade stand or station.
* Most important of all: Have fun with this theme!! This is a very unconventional theme, and requires more creativity than anything to pull it off. But just a few touches and the right
setting will take care of everything.
Your Wedding Cake
As playful as the carnival theme wedding is, you have many options for your wedding cake.
The traditional tiered wedding cake is absolutely acceptable. Do you want to give it a little twist?
Just have it decorated completely in your wedding colors. for example you could have a red wedding cake with gold or yellow accents, or a checkered white and red design.
Another option is the cupcake tree. You can have different colors or a simple but colorful design in all of them.
You can use mini balloons cupcakes picks on them as well.
And the most unconventional cake of all but adopted by daring unconventional brides?
Wedding pies. Yes, just like you read it.
Pies are making a big impact on outdoors unconventional weddings, and brides seem to be adopting this trend more and more.
Just remember a few years back the thought of cupcakes instead of the traditional wedding cake was almost unthinkable!
